Mekolo Alphonse
Alphonse Mekolo is the Founding Director of Mekalfone Engineering Governance Consulting in brief MEG & Partners, an international consulting organization registered in Cameroon, Africa with headquarters in Yaounde. The Firm aims at working along with institutions and local communities to design and put into practice innovative management and governance tools as well as appropriate strategic approaches for sustainable development. Alphonse Mekolo has spent 17 years at the UN Secretariat, New York, as senior interregional adviser in public Administration and governance systems. He also served in Cameroon as acting Director of the Advanced Institute for Public management and as Chief of service for international Economic Cooperation.
... Alphonse Mekolo is a training professional and keeps doing active research and consulting for public sector institutions and local governments around the world. He wrote many papers, delivered Key notes at conferences, and designed professional training materials e.g. Public Administration Reconstruction after conflict. He is now writing a new book on Governance from Below to be published soon. He holds a MA from Quebec University, Canada; and obtained certificates in the fields of conflict management and negotiation, Project Analysis and Financing, and Public Policy and programme monitoring and Evaluation.
